The focus of development is on medical skin care products with proven efficacy. Classic cosmetics (e.g. anti-aging) are based on formulations with allergen-free fragrances, emulsifier-free formulations and emulsions without classical preservatives such as parabens.

We manage the entire development process and provide you with ready-to-market cosmetics, finalized with primary and secondary packaging, label design, safety assessment, registration, and marketing documents.

In addition to classical cosmetics, we also develop innovative cosmetics based on biotechnology, such as cosmeceuticals. Cosmeceuticals are cosmetic products with bioactive ingredients that are believed to have a medical benefit.

Our range of services includes the development of cosmetics and testing of highly innovative galenic carrier systems for drug targeting, pharmaceutical technology, membrane technology, process engineering, and pharmaceutical biotechnology.

We optimize cosmetic dosage forms through excellent galenics–but we are also happy to manage the entire process for you, including raw material screening, raw material selection,formulation development, manufacturing technology, and shelf-life and in-use stability.

Analytics of cosmetics

Depending on your requirements, our partner network can also support you with instrumental analysis, i.e., quality testing and content determination with chromatography (UHPLC, HPLC, IC, HS-GC, DC).

The first step in any quality control procedure is to check the identity. Testing for characteristic ingredients as well as for impurities and determination of the chromatographic fingerprint using thin layer chromatography (DC), gas chromatography (GC), or high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) also provide important identifying information. In addition, we evaluate organoleptic characteristics like odor and taste.

Both we and our contract laboratories provide you with analytical-regulatory advice and support, find the suitable contract manufacturer, and accompany you throughout the process with our project management system and efficient implementation procedures.
